Grammy Award winning music superstar’s Mariah Carey released her new single which entitled “Obsessed” from her new album “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel” which will be released on August 25, 2009. The new single had its debut on Chicago radio station B96 and it was produced by The-Dream and Christopher “Tricky” Stewart.

Prior to its release the single was rumored to be an Eminem diss, a response to the “Bagpipes From Baghdad” wherein Em raps about taking Carey back from Nick Cannon. “Nick Cannon better back the f— up,” Em warns the actor/musician on the track. “I’m not playing/ I want her back, you punk.” Her husband Nick Cannon has also previously responded to Eminem in a blog post which he later removed.

Mariah seems to be giving her side of the story. “I was like, ‘Why are you so obsessed with me?’ “Carey says before the music begins.
