Pop superstar Michael Jackson died in hospital after being rushed to hospital due to cardiac arrest. The 50-year-old pop star was not breathing when paramedics arrived at his home. He was given CPR and rushed by ambulance to UCLA Medical Center.

Michael is survived by three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince “Blanket” Michael Jackson II.

His 1982 album “Thriller” which included the blockbuster hits “Beat It,” “Billie Jean” and “Thriller” remains the biggest-selling album of all time, with more than 26 million copies.

One of the few artists to have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, his other achievements include multiple Guinness World Records including one for “Most Successful Entertainer of All Time” 13 Grammy Awards, 13 number one singles in his solo career more than any other male artist in the Hot 100 era and the sales of over 750 million albums worldwide. Cited as one of the world’s most famous men, Jackson’s highly publicized personal life, coupled with his successful career, made him a part of popular culture for almost four decades.

The film, which opens on February 12, 2010, focuses on two lovers whose relationship is threatened by their respective family tragedies. Pattinson portrays one half of this couple, while former Lost star Emilie de Ravin plays his girlfriend.

Chris Brown and Rihanna

Rihanna was left nursing cuts and bruises to her face which causes the music and entertainment world to wonder. The assault happened as the former couple drove home from a pre-Grammy Awards party. She was forced to cancel a scheduled performance at the Grammys in Los Angeles later that day. Affidavits filed in the case alleged Brown slammed Rihanna’s head against the window of a car the couple was traveling in before repeatedly punching and biting her.

Rihanna appeared in court with her lawyer Monday after Brown. Both singers were not available for comment although Rihanna’s lawyer Donald Etra said the star was satisfied by the outcome. The Rihanna’s lawyer said that the singer had been willing to testify what happened that evening. The lawyer also said that there is still a stay away order.
